In 1995, the owners set about the task of restoring a derelict building in the heart of Dublin 4 to its former glory as a boutique property. After almost two years of extensive renovations, the result was Butlers Town House Hotel, one of Dublin’s finest small luxury hotels. The owners played a crucial part in the re-design and reconstruction of the building.
Affirming the atmosphere of a private home, the 20 uniquely designed bedrooms offer the guest a unique taste of Victorian life. The Drawing Room, with its coved ceiling, private bar and oversized chairs create a 'Private Club' atmosphere, whilst the Conservatory Restaurant offers a gourmet breakfast daily, as well as a round-the-clock menu service.

This elegant Town House Hotel has retained many of its original features, which have been imaginatively interwoven with 21st century conveniences. Rooms have been individually designed to capture the ambience of the Victorian era, whilst providing all the comforts of contemporary accommodation.
You will find each of our twenty rooms well appointed, with much time and effort spent on ensuring your comfort. Upon climbing into your bed, you will find yourself enveloped in two fold Egyptian cotton, whilst resting your head on a luxuriant handmade pillow. The air-conditioning can be remote controlled whilst you tune into one of the international TV stations pre-programmed for your convenience. Your power shower will leave you refreshed and invigorated or you can relax as you bathe with decadent soaps.
Conservatory
Gently awaken your senses each morning in the bright, airy surroundings of The Conservatory. Gourmet Irish breakfasts are our speciality but we provide a 24-hour menu service for your convenience. We also endeavour to cater for as many dietary requirements as possible.
Room service meals can be accommodated in the restaurant and if you need to entertain guests, we can arrange private meals for up to 30 people.
