Set on a 90 acre estate of Breaffy Resort, the Breaffy House Hotel is situated just outside the bustling town of Castlebar. Retaining some of its original Country House atmosphere, the hotel dates back to 1890 and is an excellent base from which to explore the whole region. Our friendly and professional staff will be more than happy to advise you on the best sights and sounds in the area.
 Breaffy House Hotel offers a choice of 125 bedrooms to choose from, including Presidential Suites, Junior Suites, spacious double/twin and interconnecting rooms with some wheelchair accessible rooms. The guestrooms have been designed with the comfort and convenience of the valued guest foremost in mind elegantly appointed with en-suite bathroom, most of which are overlooking the resorts splendid grounds. Breaffy House Hotel also boasts 26 2-bedroom semi self-catering lodges, all within the grounds of Breaffy Resort.

Directions from Galway
From Galway: Take the N17 via Tuam to Claremorris and the N60 from Claremorris to Castlebar; the Breaffy House Resort is on the left-hand side as you approach Castlebar. Alternatively, take the N84 via Ballinrobe to Castlebar and the N60 Claremorris Road out of Castlebar; the Breaffy House Resort is on the righthand side as you leave Castlebar.
